First Post! Getting Set Up, Introducing Myself

As I'm preparing myself to write this whole blog I think back on the past 4 years of travel to Lima. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience now in Lima and the communities 2 hours north of Lima in the Huaral province of Peru and the towns near the Carretera Panamericana Norte (section of internationally-connected highway) that runs around la curva del diablo. My goal is to provide this blog with information as a guide on what to eat, how to travel, and how to get around surfing in Peru. This will be my first time ever surfing in Peru, but my 6th time travelling in this amazing country and I've had the fortune of being welcomed with open arms by the loving family of my girlfriend Naomi.

Here's a few pictures as a teaser of what's to come. These photos are from my first trip to Peru in 2015 and include images of Miraflores, Paracas, and Chancay. I will be spending the majority of my time in Huaral, Chancay, and Miraflores. I hope to provide resources and guides for those regions on surfing and affordable cuisine as well as transportation and travel.
